The first two pictures are taken at the edge of the boat ramp at Camp Cooroora; as you can see its part of the Lake MacDonald reservoir; it is an un-gated dam, meaning that when it reaches 100 per cent capacity, water flows over the spillway and safely out of the dam. With permitted activities including fishing, boating and canoeing. Permits are not required for boating at Lake Macdonald. - A current SIPS permit is required for fishing at Lake MacDonald.

Camp Cooroora is the Suncoast Regional Camp site, for the Scouting Association, and is open to the public, as you can see, it is a great spot for Caravan/ Motor homes, Camper trailers, and camping in tents, and we have a well equipped kitchen area, and a septic toilets and hot showers.
Camp Cooroora has powered and water site, by kitchen/dining area , there are also powered and water site by lake MacDonald.
Camp Cooroora also has a Bush Chapel, which has been a great hit for Weddings, due to its popularity we have replaced the seating and have a replacement the old wooden Cross. Some large wedding receptions request a closed camp, which means only wedding guests are allowed on the camp site. The kitchen/dining area is a great reception venue with the Rotunda near by.
