Lake MacCamp Cooroora is set on part of the northern banks of Lake McDonald near Cooroy, on the Sunshine Coast; the camp site covers an area of 33090 square metres. Camp Coorora is ideally set on the Queensland’s Sunshine Coast between Noosa and Cooroy, the camp site is set on part of the northern banks of Lake Macdonald between Cooroy. The site is mainly grassed with tress bordering all boundaries including that of the lake, Fishing is permitted on Lake MacDonald, but only with a fisheries permit which can be purchased from the Camp Managers, fishing competitions are held on Lake Macdonald twice a year and anglers come from all over Queensland and interstate for these competitions, and a large amount of anglers use the camping facilities.

 

ChapelCamp Cooroora has a large bush chapel which is a favourite for wedding receptions, and the kitchen facilities are ideal for wedding reception. A large A framed building Kookaburra Lodge is located near the northern side of the site which contains. Male and female toilets and showers, and bunk rooms, which is only available to members of the Scout Moment which is ideal for Cub Packs and Scouts
Adjacent to this building is well appointed kitchen and dining area. The kitchen has a gas/electric stove, two refrigerators a large Bar-B-Q and two microwave ovens; it has ample preparation and serving space, ideal for large parties.
